Known for his large scale paintings and bold use of paint, Tom Climent's work is always pleasing to view. After graduating from the Crawford College of Art and Design, he received the prestigious Victor Treacy Award in 1996. He has been a recipient of the Tony O'Malley Travel Award and was the featured artist for the Cork Arts Festival in 2000. He has had various solo shows including 'Dancing Parade' at the Triskel and 'Stolen Beauty' at the Blackcombe Gallery, Cork. He has also exhibited with the Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin. His work is held in many public and private collections.
